KNX - Advanced

Description

The KNX Advanced course is intended for participants who have successfully completed the KNX Basic course and obtained the KNX Basic certification (KNX Partners) and wish to deepen their expertise in home and building automation.

It is designed for professionals who want to master the advanced functions of a KNX installation, including:

  • Thermal control
  • Lighting control
  • Automation of openings (shutters, blinds, etc.)
  • Measurement and use of a weather station
Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Master the advanced functions of a KNX installation, including thermal control, lighting control, automation of openings, and weather station integration.
  • Design and implement a complete KNX project using the ETS software.
  • Use advanced KNX functions effectively.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a KNX installation.
  • Successfully pass the KNX Advanced Certification Exam.

The main objective of this course is to acquire the knowledge required to complete a full KNX project using the ETS programming software, make effective use of advanced KNX functions, diagnose and troubleshoot KNX installations, and successfully pass the KNX Advanced Certification Exam.

Course Content
  • Master the advanced functions of a KNX installation (thermal control, lighting control, automation of openings, measurement, and weather station integration)
  • Complete a full KNX project using the ETS programming software
  • Use advanced KNX functions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a KNX installation
  • KNX Advanced Certification Exam

Active learning through practical exercises and real-life scenarios. Hands-on use of KNX products and the ETS software. 50% of the course is dedicated to case studies and practical exercises. Digital training materials, technical catalogue, documentation, and IT resources are provided to all participants.

The KNX Advanced course is intended for participants who have successfully completed the KNX Basic course and obtained the KNX Basic certification (KNX Partners) and wish to further develop their skills in home and building automation. Basic knowledge of information technology. Basic knowledge of electrical engineering. Successful completion of the KNX Basic course and possession of the KNX Partner certification.

The CNFPC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a training course if the number of duly registered participants is insufficient, for organisational reasons, or in the event of force majeure. Cancellation: In the event of cancellation or absence from the training course, the full registration fee remains payable unless the registration is cancelled no later than 72 hours before the start of the course. Absences duly justified by a medical certificate entitle the participant to a full refund of the registration fee.
