Aféierung an d'Naturschutzgesetz: Naturschutz verstoen a plangen (1022)
Description
Are you wondering how national legislation protects the environment, habitats, and species — and what this means in practice for your projects and planning activities?
Then this training is designed for you.
Nature and resource protection are now key challenges at both national and international levels. The amended law of 18 July 2018 on nature and natural resources protection aims in particular to:
- preserve the character, diversity, and integrity of the natural environment;
- protect flora, fauna, and their habitats from degradation.
This training provides an overview of the key aspects of nature and resource protection legislation, while offering practical insights into how protected species and biotopes are safeguarded and how biodiversity is maintained.
It delivers a pragmatic overview of the rules that matter in practice: green zones, protected habitats and species, compensation measures, Natura 2000, and procedures.
Through concrete case examples, you will clearly understand what is permitted, what is not — and why.
This practice-oriented training highlights how the legislation works in reality, including its limits and degrees of flexibility.
It is intended for professionals who wish to better anticipate nature protection requirements in their projects and strengthen their understanding of related legal aspects.By the end of the training, you will be able to:
- understand how nature protection operates in practice in Luxembourg;
- identify applicable rules, constraints, and flexibility;
- anticipate nature-related legal risks at an early stage;
- clearly distinguish between permitted and prohibited actions;
- understand administrative requirements and better prepare project files;
- manage authorisation and approval procedures more securely;
- avoid errors, delays, and unnecessary conflicts;
- use nature protection as a planning and decision-making tool rather than a constraint.
